Firehouse chicken
This is not a long blog but well worth the read. Ever so often the firehouse up the street has a chicken or beef roast. Today was that day. Hundreds of chickens on the grill along with potatoes grilling and making the town smell amazing. Anyone who loves grilled chicken and passed by had to stop. The supply was first come first serve so glad I was early. By 11am they were done cooking and over half of them were sold. A dinner for two was $18. It consisted of one full chicken, two baked potatoes, two rolls and two apple sauces. I had a single order because Mrs. Ewensstomach was not only feeling sick she also does not eat chicken. I had only half of mine for lunch and will save the other half for after church tonight. So for a single person I paid $8.50 and made two meals out of it. Cant beat that for home grilled chicken and potatoes. God bless, thanks for reading and support your local fire department and business.
