Survival of the human race may
depend one day on how well we can adapt to the world around us. If you slow down
and look when you are out and about you will learn a lot. How many of you out
there would take a half eaten sandwich or slice of pizza out of the trash and
eat it? I am guessing maybe one or two of you. As much as a burden the
homeless population is on society we can learn a lot from watching them. They
survive on the streets with little to eat or clothing to wear. I have wondered
for a long time why do they stay in the city during the hot summer months and
long cold winters? Go south for the winter and north for the summer. Feed
off the land and survive. Walking today on the Georgetown
trail right through downtown Bethesda
Md I picked a hand full of black
berries. They were delicious. As I was picking them a lady walked past and saw
me, slowed down an watched for a second. She did not ask what I was doing or
eating but he saw me eat something I was picking. If she would have asked I
would have shown her so she could enjoy some of them. So the next time you are
out and see what you know is safe to eat. Pick it. One day it might save your
life. Being so comfortable with shopping for our food and having a supply on hand has made us soft. I will admit I am. The next rabbit I get out of our yard
I will eat it. I will survive. On another note the ladies in the office today
had a birthday lunch for all those born in July. So I pigged out out. God
bless, thanks for reading and remember, eat to live don't live to eat.

Two meals two nights
Well this is what I get for not writing these meals in here the same night I eat them. I forget what they are made of and the names. Thank goodness that the one I photographed with the recipe. The other one was a curry dish for Ellen and some garlic naan that she made and I cooked on the open grill. I ate the salad part of the meal and the naan. I will write next time the same night I eat the meal so that way I can make you all drool and want to eat the meals. So for this time enjoy the pictures and my very short write up and look forward to the next review. God bless, thanks for reading and see you at the tables.
