I wanted something sweet after my breakfast. Nothing in the pantry so I did the next best thing. No I did not go buy doughnuts. The other day we pulled about a dozen pares from my parents tree and a brought them home to get ripe. I took the largest and the one that was the hardest, sliced it thin, a little butter, brown sugar and cinnamon and sauteed them in a pan till tender. First time me doing this and boy was it good. I left the skin on for a little more texture. Sweet and delicious. Will I do this again? Sure will. Maybe even when Ellen gets home from work and wants a snack before class. I suggest you make these.
